Statistics on securities include information about debt securities issued by Swedish issuers (institutions that issue debt securities). An issuer could be an enterprise that issues short-term securities or a bank that issues bonds.

From reference month October 2024, the statistics will be replaced with new tables available via the Statistical Database (SSD). Securities issues is now presented with new breakdowns and information on green securities (from January 2022).
The September publication included a change in the source used for issuer related information. This has resulted in certain historical reclassifications of sector affiliations dating back to March 2013, primarily from the sector Non-financial corporations to the sector Other financial corporations. These changes do not affect the total amount at the aggregated level.
