The statistics include discharges from incensed municipal water treatment plants, pulp and paper industry and certain other coastal industries.

Discharges continues to decrease

2022-11-17

Statistics Sweden’s latest statistics show that the discharges of phosphorous and nitrogen have decreased since 2018. Discharges to water via municipal wastewater treatment plants have decreased during a longer period.
