Establishment on the labour market three years after upper secondary school:

Energy programme leads to strong position on labour market

Those who studied the energy programme established themselves to the greatest extent on the labour market. Three years after upper secondary school, 70 percent of the women and 83 percent of the men were established.

The lowest establishment was among those who studied the arts programme, with 44 percent among the women and 50 percent among the men.

The proportion of students was higher among those who took the arts programme than those who took the energy programme. To obtain comparability among the programmes, the students have not been counted.

Women establish themselves on the labour market to a lesser extent than men

In 16 programmes the proportion that was established was higher among men. The only exception was the technical programme where 66 percent of both sexes were established.
