Service Production Index, June 2011:

Service Production Index increased by 5.7 percent

Swedish service production increased by 5.7 percent in volume and working day adjusted figures in June 2011 compared to June 2010. Service production for April to June increased by 1.5 percent in seasonally adjusted series compared to January to March.

Education service increased by 19.2 percent in volume and working day adjusted figures compared to the same period last year. Further, Computer programming and Telecommunications increased by 13.4 and 12.3 percent, respectively.

The figures for June are preliminary.
