Survey of elected representatives in municipalities and county councils 2011:
The percentage of elected representatives age 65 and older continues to increase. This group has nearly doubled in size compared to 2003. As a whole, this group is no longer underrepresented among elected representatives compared to the population. Older men are now actually somewhat overrepresented.
