Consumer Price Index (CPI), June 2012:

Inflation rate 1.0 percent

The inflation rate was 1.0 percent in June 2012, unchanged from May. The Swedish Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased by 0.2 percent from May to June 2012 (0.2 percent decrease from May to June 2011).

The CPI for June of 2012 was 314.45 (1980=100).

Lower prices for clothing (-4.7 percent) contributed downwards by 0.2 percentage points to the decrease from May to June. Lower prices for fuels (-2.9 percent) and for services and equipment for telecommunication (-1.7 percent) contributed downwards by 0.1 percentage point each.

Higher prices for international air travel (10.2 percent), package holidays (8.5 percent) and food (1.0 percent) partially counteracted the decrease in the CPI from May to June. Each contributed upwards by 0.1 percentage point.

The inflation rate according to CPIF was 0.9 percent in June 2012. CPIF decreased by 0.3 percent from May to June 2012 (-0.3 percent decrease from May to June 2011).

HICP decreased by 0.3 percent from May 2012 to June 2012 and increased by 0.9 percent since June of 2011.
