Oil reduces producer prices

Producer prices on the domestic market decreased from May to June by 0.4 percent. During the same period import prices increased by 0.3 percent and export prices by 0.7 percent. In total producer prices increased 0.2 percent.

A decrease in prices for crude oil as well as related products such as refined petroleum products reduced prices on all markets. On the import- and export market this was counteracted by a depreciation of the Swedish krona, mainly against the US dollar. Besides from the exchange rate effect small changes on a few product groups contributed to the increase.

Prices for domestic supply, that is, domestic and import markets together, decreased 0.1 percent on average from May to June.

Compared to June of last year producer prices have increased 0.4 percent. During the same period prices increased 1.2 percent on the export market. On the import market prices have decreased by 0.3 percent, on the domestic market by 0.5 percent and prices for domestic supply have decreased 0.4 percent.
