Building price index illustrates the development of the prices for newly constructed dwellings of equal value. The index is based on the same data as the statistics on construction costs. To ensure comparability the data is adjusted for differences in quality and also for regional distribution. The figures include multi-dwelling buildings and collectively built one- or two-dwelling buildings but not single one- or two-dwelling buildings.
