A report about chemicals that are hazardous for the environment and/or health has been produced every year since 1994. The report also contains statistics on an additional 30 chemicals widely used in many areas. Each year there is also a special study, with a different theme every year. The most recent one is a study on cleaning agents.

This year's report Hazardous Chemicals from the Swedish Chemicals Agency and Statistics Sweden shows that the number of biocidal products is rising. The report includes a special study on biocidal products. Biocidal products are pesticides that are used in many different areas such as rat poisons, mosquito repellents and antifouling paints.
