Service production index is used as a basis for GDP calculations and will give monthly information about the production in the Swedish service sector. The index is built on results from other surveys. Published in the Swedish Statistical Databases since 2005 and in a monthly press release.
Service Production Index, March 2013
Swedish service production increased by 0.5 percent in volume and working day adjusted figures in March 2013, compared to March 2012. Service production for the period January to March increased by 1.0 percent in seasonally adjusted series compared to October to December of 2012.
