Consumer price index covers the consumption of the entire population of the country. Prices used in the index are regular prices paid by the public.

The inflation rate was 1.3 percent in April 2012, down from 1.5 percent in March. The Swedish Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.2 percent from March to April 2012 (0.4 percent from March to April 2011).   Read the entire press release
