The projected dwelling stock is based upon the Register of Real Estate Tax Assessments, updated yearly with reported new construction, conversion and demolition. The dwelling stock for multi-dwelling buildings and one- or two dwelling buildings, by municipalities and counties, can be downloaded from the Statistical database.
Projected dwelling stock 2010
According to new calculations of the dwelling stock, there were 4 508 373 dwellings in the country on 2010-12-31. Of these, 1 997 244 were dwellings in one- or two-dwelling buildings and 2 511 129 were dwellings in multi-dwelling buildings.
