Research and development in the business enterprise sector
Enterprises in Sweden spent SEK 81.1 billion on intramural research and development (R&D) in 2011. This is a marginal increase compared to 2009 when expenditures amounted to SEK 80.9 billion. During the same period the number of R&D person-years slightly decreased to 54 000 units.
