About the publishing calendar
Contents
The publishing calendar contains information on when and by whom (i.e. which government agency) official statistics will be published. All statistics from government agencies responsible for the official statistics of Sweden are included in the calendar. The publishing calendar also includes other statistics from Statistics Sweden.
Statistics that are not a part of the official statistics released by other government agencies are not included in the publishing calendar. This information can be found on the respective websites of the government agencies.
Information on Statistics Sweden's statistical databases as well as tables and graphs are presented from November 2006 onwards. Publications and press releases are presented from the release year 2002 onwards. A selection of older publications published before 2002 are also available.
Updating
We issue the publishing date for the coming year on our website in the beginning of December. However, the publishing date for some statistics is issued on 1 October. This is according to an agreement under the leadership of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and concerns: the Labour Force Survey, Consumer Price Index, National Accounts, Financial Accounts, Producer Price Index, Industrial Production Index, Quick Statistics for Foreign Trade and Population Statistics.
During the year the publishing calendar is updated as soon as changes occur.
Publishing of statistics on our website always takes place at 09:30 Monday-Friday. Statistics published on websites of other government agencies may be published at other times.
Explanation of reference period
Reference period refers to the timeliness of statistics in time, i.e. the time interval or point in time that the survey refers to. In case the statistics do not have a reference period, either the column for the reference period is empty or else the production time is given, i.e. the period when the statistics were produced. If production time is given, it is always preceded by the text 'production time'.
Publishing calendar
The publishing calendar includes all statistics that are produced by Statistics Sweden and all official statistics from other government agencies responsible for official statistics. The calendar is updated continuously. New statistics on Statistics Sweden's website are published Monday-Friday at 09:30.
