SCB has developed long-term times series for the Industrial Production Index dating back to 1980. A sample of the industries that correspond backwards with NACE Rev. 2 has been calculated. The industries included are as follows:
- B+C (Mines and quarries, manufacturing industry)
- C (Manufacturing industry)
- 10-12 (Food product, beverage and tobacco industry)
- 16.1 (Sawmill and planing mill)
- 17 (Industry for paper and paper products)
- 24 (Industry for basic metals)
- 29 (Industry for motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers)
The series will be published 10 December 2010 in connection with the ordinary publication. Time series will be published in the Statistical database.
