Electricity, gas and district heating statistics, annual

The statistics illustrate the supply and use of electricity, gas and district heating, fuel use and technical equipment at power stations etc.

The users of the statistics are the Swedish Energy Agency, the National Accounts, the environmental statistics, the Ministry of Finance, the EU, OECD/IEA, Eurostat and UN/ECE, regional users for energy plans and follow up of environmental goals and others.

Instructions

Suitable respondents at your workplace would be persons responsible for the environment or energy. The report should include the workplace's purchased quantities and purchase value for the fuels that have been used during the given reporting year.

Among other things, the information to report includes the fuels for production of electricity and heating production as well as technical equipment in power stations.

Time plan

A letter with information about user ID and password will be sent out at the beginning of February. Data collection is done via web form.

Your reply is requested no later than March 10 2024.

Your response

The obligation to provide information is mandatory for this survey according to the Official Statistics Act (2001:99). The statistics for this survey are also regulated according to the Official Statistics Ordinance (2001:100) and the Swedish Energy Agency's regulations (STEMFS 2020:5) .

The information you submit is protected according to Chapter 24 Section 8 of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009:400). When the information is published, no single enterprise can be identified.

Rules on handling personal data are contained in the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, the Official Statistics Act (2001:99) and the Official Statistics Ordinance (2001:100). In addition, there are rules in the Act on supplementary provisions to the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (2018:218) and in regulations issued in association with the Act.
