An increase in those who leave county and municipal council during term of office
Statistical news from Statistics Sweden 2017-10-18 9.30
The number of those who leave county and municipal council have increased three years in to the present term of office, which began on election day in 2014. The largest increase were among elected candidates to the county council. On the other hand, fewer candidates below 30 years of age elected to the municipal council leave office after three years. Those who leave the Riksdag are on the same level as earlier terms of office.
Over time, there is an increase in elected candidates who leave during the term of office, irrespective of whether they are elected to the Riksdag, county council or municipal council.
