Property holdings are assessed to about SEK 7 990 billion

The assessed value of all taxable real estate in Sweden increased by SEK 428,3 billion or 5.7 percent in the 2016 simplified and special assessment of real estate. The total assessed value of all taxable real estate in Sweden is now SEK 7 991 billion.

The increase of 15.7 percent for multi-dwelling and commercial building units is mainly due to the simplified assessment carried out in 2016 for this type of real estate. The total assessed value of multi-dwelling and commercial building units is now SEK 2 897 billion. The total assessed value of agriculture and forestry units is SEK 1 121 billion. For one- or two-dwelling buildings units, the total assessed value is SEK 3 290 billion and for industrial units it is SEK 364 billion.

One- or two-dwelling building, built (type code 220) with the highest average assessed value, SEK 6 974 000, are located in Danderyd municipality. Buildings with the lowest average assessed value, SEK 180 000, are located in Åsele municipality.
