Number of employees increased by 2.6 percent

In the first quarter of 2017 the number of employees amounted to 4 544 800, an increase of 2.6 percent compared with the same quarter last year. Total gross pay amounted to SEK 418.0 billion, an increase of 4.4 percent. There were 127 400 job openings on the labour market, an increase of 14.0 percent.
