Household consumption increased in November

Household consumption increased by 0.5 percent in seasonally adjusted figures between October and November. In the last three-month period, consumption increased by 0.9 percent in seasonally adjusted figures compared with the previous three-month period. Household consumption increased by 2.1 percent in fixed prices and working day adjusted figures in November 2017 compared with November 2016.
The Recreation and culture, goods and services activity accounted for the largest weighted contribution to the total increase in consumption. This activity increased by 8.8 percent in fixed prices and working day adjusted figures compared with the same period in the previous year. From September to November 2017, consumption increased by 2.1 percent in fixed prices and working day adjusted figures compared with the same period in the previous year. Prices according to the consumption deflator increased by 1.1 percent in November 2017 compared with November 2016.
