Restaurant sales increased in June
Statistical news from Statistics Sweden 2017-08-10 9.30
The restaurant sales volume increased by 4.5 percent in June compared with the same period last year. The strongest increase in sales volume was in entertainment restaurants, which increased by 18.0 percent.
The volume of sales in entertainment restaurants rose by 18.0 percent in June. Another type of restaurant with a positive development in volume of sales was cafes, at 13.2 percent. Personnel restaurants had the weakest development in volume of sales in restaurants, -4.0 percent, in June.
The turnover for restaurants increased by 7.9 percent in June compared with the same month last year.
