Restaurant sales increased in May

The restaurant sales volume increased by 4.6 percent in May compared with the same period last year. The strongest increase in sales volume was in entertainment restaurants, which increased by 14.0 percent.
The volume of sales in entertainment restaurants rose by 14.0 percent in May. Hotels was another type of restaurant with positive development in volume of sales, at 13.5 percent. Among restaurants, personnel restaurants had the weakest development in volume of sales, -8.4 percent, in May.
The turnover for restaurants increased by 8.4 percent in May compared with the same month last year.
