The statistics shed light on Sweden's entire education system: pre-school, compulsory school, upper-secondary school, different forms of adult education, higher education and research, and the transition from school to working life.Statistics Sweden also works extensively on commission, building on the official statistics production to produce tailor-made statistics that are paid for by the users/clients.
The statistics shed light on supply and demand on the labour market, wage formation and labour costs, the working environment, etc. They take the form of statistics on individuals, statistics on enterprises and statistics based on administrative sources, and also include forecasting. Alongside our production of official statistics, Statistics Sweden also provides extensive commissioned services - i.e. we produce tailor-made statistical products paid for by our users/customers.
Since 1994, the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) has been the authority responsible for statistics on social services.
