Labour Cost Index (AKI) for wage-earners and salaried employees in the private sector, October 2015:

Labour costs increased in October

The Labour Cost Index (AKI) for the private sector in October 2015 was 119.2 for wage-earners and 122.0 for salaried employees. Compared to October 2014, labour costs have increased by 3.9 percent for wage-earners and 3.5 percent for salaried employees.

Total labour costs include pay for hours worked, pay for hours not worked, other cash payments and payments in kind, costs for additional pension benefits, other collective fees, contributions to the health insurance schemes, contributions to the national basic supplementary pension schemes, sick pay, and a special payroll tax.
