National accounts, fourth quarter 2015:
Sweden’s GDP increased 1.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2015, seasonally adjusted and compared to the third quarter of 2015. GDP increased 4.5 percent, working-day adjusted and compared to the fourth quarter of 2014.
Household consumption expenditures grew by 0.9 percent and general government consumption expenditures increased by 0.9 percent seasonally adjusted and compared to the previous quarter. Changes in inventories decreased the GDP growth by 0.3 percentage points. Gross fixed capital formation increased by 2.0 percent. Exports increased by 2.9 percent and imports increased by 2.0 percent. Market production of goods and services increased 1.4 percent, seasonally adjusted. Production of goods rose by 1.6 percent and service-producing industries grew by 1.2 percent. Employment measured as the total number of hours worked increased by 0.2 percent seasonally adjusted and the number of persons employed increased by 0.7 percent.
