The statistics present those entitled to vote, those voting, votes by party, breakdown by personalised votes and by distribution of seats in Riksdag, county council and municipal council elections.

2026‑03‑04: Data on the share of eligible voters by age was missing in Table 4b for some municipalities. This has now been corrected.

Many voters remain uncertain about their party preference at the end of the electoral term

If an election had been held in May 2026, 20 percent of respondents would not know which party they would vote for. Fifteen percent of voters do not express sympathy for any party. Voters who support the Sweden Democrats report the highest level of certainty regarding their party choice.
