  • Household consumption increased in March 2026

    Household consumption increased by 1.4 percent in March, measured in constant prices, calendar and seasonally adjusted figures, compared with February. Compared with March 2025, household consumption increased by 4.1 percent, measured in constant prices and calendar adjusted figures.

  • Volume of retail trade increased in March 2026

    The volume of retail trade increased by 3.1 percent in March 2026 compared with March 2025. Retail sales in durables increased by 3.0 percent while retail sales in consumables (excluding Systembolaget, the state-owned chain of liquor stores) increased by 3.1 percent. These figures are calendar and seasonally adjusted and calculated in constant prices.

  • Household consumption nearly unchanged in February 2026

    Household consumption increased by 0.1 percent in February, measured in constant prices, calendar and seasonally adjusted figures, compared with January. Compared with February 2025, household consumption increased by 1.8 percent, measured in constant prices and calendar adjusted figures.

  • Volume of retail trade decreased in February 2026

    The volume of retail trade decreased by 0.6 percent in February 2026 compared with January 2025. Retail sales in durables decreased by 0.9 percent while retail sales in consumables (excluding Systembolaget, the state-owned chain of liquor stores) remained unchanged. These figures are calendar and seasonally adjusted and calculated in constant prices.

  • Household consumption increased in January

    Household consumption increased by 0.7 percent in January 2026, measured in in constant prices, calendar and seasonally adjusted figures, compared with December 2025. Compared with January 2025, household consumption increased by 2.8 percent, measured in constant prices and calendar adjusted figures.
