  • Household consumption increased in August 2025

    Household consumption increased by 0.4 percent in August 2025, measured in in constant prices, calendar and seasonally adjusted figures, compared with July 2025. Compared with August 2024, household consumption increased by 2.5 percent, measured in constant prices and calendar adjusted figures. In the last three-month period, consumption increased by 2.6 percent compared with the same period a year ago, measured in constant prices and calendar adjusted figures.

  • Retail sales volume increased in August 2025

    The retail sales volume increased by 0.9 percent in August 2025 compared with July 2025. Retail sales in durables increased by 1.9 percent while retail sales in consumables (excluding Systembolaget, the state-owned chain of liquor stores) remained unchanged. These figures are working-day and seasonally adjusted and calculated in constant prices.

  • Household consumption nearly unchanged in July 2025

    Household consumption increased by 0.2 percent in July 2025, measured in seasonally adjusted figures, compared with June 2025. Compared with July 2024, household consumption increased by 2.4 percent, measured in constant prices and working day adjusted figures. In the last three-month period, consumption increased by 2.1 percent compared with the same period a year ago, measured in constant prices and working day adjusted figures.

  • Retail sales volume increased in July 2025

    The retail sales volume increased by 0.3 percent in July 2025 compared with June 2025. Retail sales in durables decreased by 0.3 percent and retail sales in consumables (excluding Systembolaget, the state-owned chain of liquor stores) increased by 0.8 percent. These figures are working-day and seasonally adjusted and calculated in constant prices.

  • Household consumption increased in June 2025

    Household consumption increased by 0.6 percent in June 2025, measured in seasonally adjusted figures, compared with May 2025. Compared with June 2024, household consumption increased by 2.1 percent, measured in constant prices and working day adjusted figures. In the last three-month period, consumption increased by 1.8 percent compared with the same period a year ago, measured in constant prices and working day adjusted figures.
