Net trade balance at SEK 11.6 billion in November

In November 2025, Swedish exports of goods amounted to SEK 173.7 billion, while imports of goods amounted to SEK 162.1 billion. As a result, the net trade balance was SEK 11.6 billion.
Foreign trade in goods resulted in a net trade surplus of SEK 11.6 billion in November 2025, according to preliminary calculations. In November 2024, there was a net trade surplus of SEK 5.2 billion.
The value of exports in November 2025 was SEK 173.7 billion, while imports were valued at SEK 162.1 billion. The corresponding values for November 2024 were SEK 183.9 billion for exports and SEK 178.7 billion for imports. Exports of goods have decreased by 6 percent and imports of goods decreased by 9 percent compared to November 2024. The number of weekdays in November 2025 was one less compared with November 2024.
Trade in goods with countries outside the EU resulted in a surplus of SEK 30.7 billion, while EU trade resulted in a deficit of SEK 19.1 billion.

Seasonally adjusted, net trade showed a surplus of SEK 8.9 billion in November, compared with a surplus of SEK 7.4 billion in October. The corresponding figure for September was a surplus of SEK 6.2 billion.
Net trade (January – November 2025) showed a surplus of SEK 68.7 billion
During the last eleven months, the value of exports of goods decreased by 1 percent and the value of imports of goods decreased by 2 percent compared with the corresponding period a year ago. Exports were valued at SEK 1880.7 billion and imports were valued at SEK 1812.0 billion. The net trade for January – November 2025 thus resulted in a surplus of SEK 68.7 billion. The corresponding net trade balance for these months one year earlier was a surplus of SEK 61.1 billion.
