* The classification of region of birth refers to the latest reference year.

* Number of years in Sweden refers to time since the latest immigration date.

* Low income is defined as persons living in households with an equalised disposable income which is less than 60% of the median for all. The median value for All persons can be found in the table Income inequality indicators.

* Number of persons refers to the persons who were registered in the national population register at 20XX-12-31, where XX marks the reference year of the survey, and is the denominator in the calculation of the proportion of persons with an equalised disposable income less than 60% of the median income.

* The statistics are based on the surveys Household Finances (HEK) and Incomes and taxes (IoS). Statistics based on HEK are available for the years 1975-2013 and statistics based on IoS from the year 2011. The statistics in this table for the years 2011 and onward are based on IoS.
