In 2026, the average rent increased by 3.3 percent, which is less than 4.6 percent a year ago. The average monthly rent for a three-room apartment is SEK 9 528.

Estimated rents include heating costs and water, but do not include costs for garage and electricity.
These statistics describe rents and changes in rents for rental dwellings. Rents are broken down by region, number of rooms, year of construction, and type of ownership. Rents for dwellings is an annual survey based on a national sample of rented dwellings. The sample includes approximately 16 000 dwellings.
