In the second quarter of 2022, there were 5 071 111 employees. The number of employees increased by 4.5 percent compared with the corresponding quarter a year ago. Total gross pay amounted to SEK 555 billion, an increase of 7.1 percent. There were 192 100 job openings in the labour market, an increase of 45.5 percent compared with the corresponding quarter in 2021.
