Restaurant sales increased in the third quarter
Statistical news from Statistics Sweden 2018-12-10 9.30
The restaurant sales volume increased by 0.3 percent in the third quarter compared with the same period last year. The largest increase in sales volume, 9.1 percent, was among traffic restaurants.
Hotel restaurants achieved the second largest increase, up 8.4 percent from the third quarter 2017. Personnel restaurants experienced the weakest development in sales volume, -12.3 percent.
In current prices, turnover generated by restaurants increased by 2.9 percent in the third quarter compared with the same quarter last year.
