Restaurant sales increased in October

The restaurant sales volume increased by 1.5 percent in October compared with the same period last year. The strongest increase in sales volume was in fast food restaurants and restaurants near traffic which increased by 4.8 percent.
The volume of sales in fast food restaurants and restaurants near traffic rose by 4,8 percent in October. Hotel restaurants was another type of restaurant with positive development in volume of sales, at 2.4 percent. Among restaurants, personnel restaurants had the weakest development in volume of sales, -3.8 percent, in October.
The turnover for restaurants increased by 5.4 percent in October compared with the same month last year.
