Restaurant sales increased in the second quarter of 2018
Statistical news from Statistics Sweden 2018-09-10 9.30
The restaurant sales volume increased by 1.0 percent in the second quarter compared with the same period last year. The largest increase in sales volume, 11.5 percent, was among restaurants near traffic.
Hotel restaurants had the second largest increase, up 10.0 percent from the second quarter 2017. Personnel restaurants had the weakest development in sales volume, -10.9 percent.
In current prices, the turnover for restaurants increased by 4.2 percent in the second quarter 2018 compared with the same period last year.
