Restaurant sales increased in the third quarter
Statistical news from Statistics Sweden 2019-12-10 9.30
The restaurant sales volume increased by 0.4 percent in the third quarter compared with the same period a year ago. The largest increase in sales volume, 17.2 percent, was among entertainment restaurants.
Cafés recorded the second largest increase, 1.7 percent from the third quarter 2018. Personnel restaurants experienced the weakest development in sales volume, -16.8 percent.
Turnover generated by restaurants increased by 3.8 percent in the third quarter in current prices, compared with the same quarter last year.
