Official statistics of Sweden 2025, part 1. Annual Report
The report Sveriges officiella statistik is published annually and is divided into two parts. This section, Part 1, gives an overview of the system for the official statistics in Sweden. Responsibility for producing official statistics is shared among 29 public authorities. SCB, in addition to being one of these authorities, also has a coordinating role.
The report includes, among other things:
- A description of how the official statistics system is structured.
- A follow-up of punctuality, production time, respondent burden, gender disaggregation in statistics, and costs and time required to produce statistics.
- Who are the authorities responsible for statistics, what statistical areas they have and who uses the statistics.
- Activities carried out during the year within the official statistics system.
