Norwegian owners increase the most

36 761 holiday homes in Sweden are owned by foreigners. This is an increase of 2 percent compared to 2012 and 103 percent compared to 2000. Swedes living abroad own 12 675 holiday homes in the country. In 2013 foreign ownership of holiday homes in Sweden amounted to 6.4 percent while expatriate Swedes owned 2.2 percent of all holiday homes in the country.
