Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (SILC)
The statistics describe living conditions for the Swedish population aged 16 or older in the following areas: health, economy, housing, employment, quality of life and trust in others, leisure, social relations, civic activities, security and work environment. The statistics are used, among other things, for comparisons between groups, comparisons over time and for international comparisons.
Change of data collection method in SILC 2022
From 2022, Statistics Sweden has introduced mixed mode in SILC, which means that the selected persons can choose whether they want to answer via a telephone interview or via a web survey. Some of the indicators have likely been affected by the change in data collection method, which means that the results for these indicators should not be compared with previous years. These indicators are presented on a separate line in the Statistical Database with "2022" in the name.
