  • Rise in services prices in the first quarter of 2024

    The Services Producer Price Index increased by 1.0 percent in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023. Compared to the first quarter of 2023, the Services Producer Price Index has increased by 2.7 percent (2.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2023).

  • Price increases in all markets in March 2024

    The Producer Price Index rose by 0.6 percent in March compared to February 2024. Prices increased by 0.4 percent on the export market and increased by 0.8 percent on the domestic market. On the import market prices rose by 0.2 percent. The annual rate according to the Producer Price Index was -0.6 percent in March (-1.3 percent in February).

  • Lower prices on electricity contributed to the downturn on the domestic market

    The Producer Price Index was unchanged in February compared to January 2024. Prices increased by 1.2 percent on the export market and increased by 1.7 percent on the import market. On the domestic market, prices decreased by 1.1 percent. The annual rate according to the Producer Price Index was -1.3 percent in February (-2.3 percent in January).

  • Annual rates are still negative for producer prices

    The Producer Price Index rose by 0.3 percent in January compared to December 2023. Prices decreased by 0.6 percent on the export market and decreased by 1.5 percent on the import market. On the domestic market, prices rose by 1.1 percent. The annual rate according to the Producer Price Index was -2.3 percent in January (-7.7 percent in December).

  • Services prices nearly unchanged in the fourth quarter of 2023

    The Services Producer Price Index decreased by 0.1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to the third quarter of 2023. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, the Services Producer Price Index has increased by 2.8 percent (3.7 percent in the third quarter of 2023).
