Number of employees increased by 2.2 percent

In the fourth quarter of 2016 the number of employees amounted to 4 577 400, an increase of 2.2 percent compared with the same quarter last year. Total gross pay amounted to SEK 422.6 billion, an increase of 5.7 percent. There were 92 200 job openings on the labour market, an increase of 13.7 percent.
