The inflation rate according to the CPI was 0.8 percent in May 2026

The inflation rate according to the CPI in May 2026 was 0.8 percent, up from -0.1 percent in April. The monthly change for the CPI from April to May was 1.0 percent. The inflation rate according to the CPIF (Consumer Price Index with fixed interest rate) was 1.5 percent in May, up from 0.8 percent in April.
