Faster growth in the civil society sector in 2024

2026-10-22

The total output of the civil society sector amounted to SEK 332.6 billion in 2024, of which payments from general government represented SEK 43.4 billion. Gross value added amounted to SEK 193.6 billion, contributing 3.4 percent to Sweden’s GDP, an increase of 0.1 percentage points compared with 2023.
