  • Sales of tenant-owned flats 2024 och 2025

    In 2025, 102 062 tenant-owned flats were sold for a total value of SEK 295 billion, this is SEK 5 billion or almost 2 percent higher than in the previous year. The average price for a tenant-owned increased with 2 percent, from SEK 2.829 million in 2024 to SEK 2.888 million in 2025.

  • Real estate for SEK 367 billion changed owner in 2025

    There were almost 131 000 granted registrations of title in 2025, which is almost 9 000 more than in 2024. Excluding heritage, exchanges, gifts and mergers there were 98 000 registrations of title with a purchase price. The total purchase price for these properties was almost SEK 367 billion, which is more than SEK 46 billion more than in the previous year.

  • Real estate prices for one- or two-dwelling buildings and holiday homes increased during 2025

    Prices, according to real estate price index for one- or two-dwelling buildings, decreased with 1 percent at national level during the fourth quarter 2025 compared with the third quarter. At the national level, the average price for one- or two-dwelling buildings was SEK 3.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2025. In the metropolitan areas, the average price spans from almost SEK 5.3 million in Greater Malmö to SEK 6.9 million in Greater Stockholm.

  • Real estate prices for one- or two-dwelling buildings rose in the third quarter 2025

    Prices according to the Real Estate Price Index for one- or two-dwelling buildings increased by more than 1 percent at national level in the third quarter 2025 compared with the previous quarter. The statistics are reported after the date of purchase, that is, the date when the buyer becomes the new owner.
