  • Significant increase in AI usage among enterprises in 2025

    In 2025, the use of artificial intelligence (AI technology) increased compared to 2024, according to new statistics from the survey on ICT usage in enterprises. The share of enterprises performing data analytics also rose, while the proportion of enterprises engaged in e-commerce remained unchanged.

    During 2024, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in enterprises more than doubled compared to 2023. New statistics from the survey ICT Usage in Enterprises also show that the share of enterprises employing ICT specialists decreased and the application of ICT security measures increased during 2024.

  • Faster internet connectivity among enterprises using AI

    During 2023, the speed of enterprise internet connections continued to trend upward. A majority of enterprises reported usage at speeds ranging from 100 to 500 Mbit/s, and the share is even higher among enterprises using AI technologies. This according to new data from the survey on ICT usage in enterprises.

    Between 2019 and 2021, AI-use increased in both business enterprises, with 1.1 percentage points, and in the government sector, with 4.1 percentage points. In both sectors, middle size units have seen the biggest increase in AI-use. Still, large business enterprises and government units were the most frequent AI-users.
