  • Real estate prices for one- or two-dwelling buildings and holiday homes declined during 2023

    Real estate prices for one- or two-dwelling buildings declined by 10 percent at national level in 2023 compared with 2022. Real estate prices for an equivalent comparison for buildings for seasonal and secondary use declined by 12 percent. The statistics are reported after the date of purchase, that is, the date when the buyer becomes the new owner.

  • Real estate prices for one- or two-dwelling buildings fell in the second quarter 2023

    Prices according to the Real Estate Price Index for one- or two-dwelling buildings fell by 1 percent at national level in the second quarter 2023 compared with the previous quarter. The statistics are reported after the date of purchase, that is, the date when the buyer becomes the new owner.

  • Sales of tenant-owned flats amounted to SEK 297 billion

    The statistics has been corrected 2023-07-04. In 2022, 107 248 tenant-owned flats were sold for a total value of SEK 297 billion. The average price for a tenant-owned flat fell by almost 1 percent, from SEK 2.785 million in 2021 to SEK 2.766 million in 2022.

  • Real estate for SEK 394 billion changed owner in 2022

    There were more than 135 000 granted registrations of title in 2022, which is 18 000 less than in 2021. Excluding heritage, exchanges, gifts and mergers there were almost 103 000 registrations of title with a purchase price. The total purchase price for these properties was just less than SEK 394 billion, which is SEK 33 billion less than previous year.
