Housing one fifth of households expenditure

Expenditure for housing is the largest expenditure for the households. Housing consists of all expenditure for housing, including both main residence and other residences. Apart from housing, transport and food and non-alcoholic beverages are the largest expenditure groups. Swedish households spend on average 21,9 per cent on housing, 14,9 per cent on transport and 13,6 per cent on food and non-alcoholic beverages.
