  • GDP down in December

    Swedish GDP contracted by 0.6 percent in December, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, according to the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. For the fourth quarter as a whole GDP increased with 0.2 percent compared with the preceding quarter. Calendar adjusted GDP for December was 0.9 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year, while GDP for the quarter as a whole was 1.8 percent higher than in the fourth quarter of 2024.

  • Higher GDP in November

    Sweden’s GDP increased by 0.9 percent in November, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, according to the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calendar adjusted GDP was 2.7 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year.

  • Household consumption increased week 46-49 2025

    Household consumption increased by 0.6 percent week 46-49 compared with week 42-45. Compared with the same period last year, household consumption week 46-49 increased by 0.1 percent. Both figures are measured in constant prices and are calendar and seasonally adjusted.

  • GDP indicator down in October

    Sweden’s GDP decreased by 0.3 percent in October, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calander adjusted GDP was 2.1 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year.

  • Household consumption increased week 44-47 2025

    Household consumption increased by 0.7 percent week 44-47 compared with week 40-43. Compared with the same period last year, household consumption week 44-47 increased by 1.0 percent. Both figures are measured in constant prices and are calendar and seasonally adjusted.
