Production value index (PVI)

The statistics measure the monthly development of Swedish business sector production value, including trade, services, and goods production. The survey is coordinated with other economic indicator surveys.
The publication of the inventory‑adjusted production value index has ceased. Statistics with similar content are available in the product Quarterly economic statistics, where it is referred to as the business sector’s value added. The production value index is not affected and will continue to be published as usual.
