Quarterly economic statistics is a new product covering the private sector’s value added, investments, inventories and operating profit. The statistics is used as input in the quarterly GDP, and can also be used as individual business cycle indicators.

2025-05-23
The private sector operating profit decreased by 4.0 percent compared with the corresponding quarter last year. The operating margin amounted to 6.4 percent, a decrease by 0.5 percentage points. Gross fixed capital formation decreased by 3.7 percent compared to the corresponding quarter last year. Investments in inventories increased by 18.9 billion SEK compared to the last quarter, all measured in current prices.
