Real estate tax assessment in 2017:

The property holdings are assessed to about SEK 8 100 billion

The assessed value for all taxable real estate in Sweden increased by SEK 112,1 billion or 1.4 percent in the 2017 general and special assessment of real estate. The total assessed value of all taxable real estate in Sweden is now SEK 8 103 billion.

The increase, by 1.4 percent, is for agriculture and forestry units mainly due to the general assessment for this type of real estate carried out in 2017. The total assessed value for agriculture and forestry units is now SEK 1 138 billion. The total assessed value for multi-dwelling and commercial building units increased with 2.0 percent. For one- or two-dwelling buildings units the total assessed value increased with 1.0 percent and for industrial units it increased with 1.7 percent.

One- or two-dwelling building, built (type code 220), with the highest average assessed value of SEK 6 978 000 is situated in Danderyd municipality. Buildings with the lowest average assessed value is located in Åsele municipality, SEK 181 000.
